If you are considering a breast augmentation, you face two paths: implants or your own fat. Both can give a beautiful result, but they suit different wishes and circumstances.
Implants give a clearer and more predictable increase in volume. They suit those who want to increase the size more noticeably or who have little of their own tissue to work with. The choice of size, shape and placement is planned based on your body shape.
Here, fat is taken from another area via liposuction and transferred to the breasts. The method gives a moderate increase in volume and a very natural feel, without implants. It suits those seeking a smaller change while also wanting to shape another area.
It is worth knowing that some of the transferred fat breaks down over time, and that the increase in volume is therefore more limited than with implants. Results vary from person to person.
There is no answer that suits everyone. My job is to understand what you want to feel when you look in the mirror, and from that suggest the path that lies closest to your body.
If the breasts have lost firmness, for example after pregnancy or weight loss, a lift may be needed to position the tissue correctly. Sometimes a lift and volume are combined in the same planned procedure.
During the consultation we go through your anatomy, your wishes and the pros and cons of each path. It is not about selling a procedure, but about finding what feels right for you. Book a consultation when you'd like to take the next step.
When you are ready to bring your questions into a conversation, the first consultation is the place to do it. Tell us what you are considering, and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
